It has perfect inputs, great customizabilaty without compromising on quality and comfort.
I'll never buy any other first or third party controller other then 8bitdo
Extremely happy with the product.
I love the controller so much, it is precise, fast, looks clean, feels amazing, and works well with BeamNG. Only thing I would love to see is improvements to D-Input, as I can't use the 4 extra buttons in Xinput
The controller is really good. Feedback is excellent. All around a good controller, only problems are: the sticks sometimes feel too close, and now it has no replaceable battery, which is a bummer.
The gamepad is great!
As an important addition, one thing that often isn't listed is its fantastic support for the Linux operating system. Besides SteamOS, Linux allows you to use every single button over a Bluetooth connection, providing the same full functionality you get with the Steam Deck!
To get it working perfectly, you just need to perform a one-time setup.
Instructions for Linux Users:
First, open a terminal and create a new udev rule file. Since I know you prefer using the Kate text editor, you can use this command:
Bash
sudo kate /etc/udev/rules.d/60-steam-input.rules
Next, add the following line to the end of the file:
SUBSYSTEM=="hid", ATTRS{idVendor}=="2dc8", ATTRS{idProduct}=="6009", MODE="0666"
Save the file and close the editor. To apply the new rule immediately, run the following command in your terminal:
Bash
sudo udevadm control --reload-rules && sudo udevadm trigger
That's it! This change is permanent and will persist even after you reboot your system.
Therefore, it's a definite buy recommendation!
