8BitDo SN30 Pro (Hall Effect Joystick)

It ticks all the boxes for my needs. I hauled it around in a backpack, without a case, while I was on vacation and it performed as advertised. It has the Nintendo button layout printed but works just find as an X-Box style on a PC running Ubuntu 24 Linux playing games emulated with Proton. So it should work with anything. I actually opened it up wondering if I could swap the buttons around but they are properly keyed so there can be no mistakes at the factory. All the internals looks solid and repairable, if you can get parts. 5 stars easy. I'm going to try some their other controllers.

A great controller with most of the features you want from a bluetooth controller. Very easy firmware updates and a large variety of pairing modes for use with plenty of devices.

I bought three for my Nintendo switch. But for the life of me I can only get 2 of the three to connect to my Switch. So the third one is just a dud I guess?

wish the Vibration was a bit cleaner on ps2 emulation and the triggers were Analog and the sticker on the back saying which button combinations turn it on what mode (wish it wouldnt rub off after time of using the controller) other wise awesome controller, love this brand, ive bought 6 controllers from them and all have been Great
