I love to retro game via PC emulation. It is the easiest way to have all my childhood memories readily available without having to lug out all of my original consoles (though sometimes that too is a blast). I own a variety of 8BitDo controllers so I can emulate my favorite systems using near-original controllers. However, there are no great solutions for a PC-version of the NES controller. That is, until I found this kit! I happened to have a non-functioning NES controller laying around, so this was the perfect solution. I salvaged the old parts and now have a Bluetooth NES controller for my emulator (which works fine in Linux as well). The assembly was straightforward, but if you have trouble there are videos online that can walk you through it. Once I had the nearly 40-year-old grime cleaned out of the original case (pre-teen me was not kind to my controllers!), reassembly with the 8BitDo circuit board took less than 10 minutes. It works like a dream and makes all my buddies nostalgic for their NES!
