8BitDo Mod Kit for Original NGC Controller

It works really well, after everything has been put together, very happy with the result!
It’s not perfect because:
a) wires used are very very thin and it always feels one step away from damage
b) the wires for the shoulder button end-click-sensor are facing towards the main pcb of the controller. When being put together it requires force to push them down to close the controller shell. Again feels one step away from damage…

End result is still awesome!

If you are looking to breathe some new life into a classic controller then this is what you are looking for. Other than smoother joysticks it basically feels the same to use. The only note I have is that rumble only works in certain modes.

No analog triggers is a bummer, especially since im using this for PC. Maybe an Xinput mode could be added later on if ever? The new charger port is odd but handy, i wonder if it could also be turned into a Home-button so that pressing it will trigger that function? Again, im doing this all on PC so I understand my issue may be very niche

Initial reaction was positive, but unfortunately the wires for the trigger boards was soldered wrong causing it to be impossible to assemble.

Reached out to customer support who gave me another email to send to, rather than forwarding to them and linking me, the email shared didn’t reply for a few days, finally got told they would replace it so waited a few days and asked for tracking, only to find it was waiting for approval for a replacement.

Got bored of waiting with poor replies, so asked for a refund…which was the only thing dealt with quickly.

I love the mod it’s really nice however my issue lies in the fact that the xinput mode doesn’t allow for analog triggers to function.
