I really love the 8bitDo Controllers for my Switch. These Controllers are all available for wireless connection with the console. I would really love it, when 8bitDo would make a wireless connection with Xbox possible, too.
One of the better controllers I've used that is wireless
This thing rocks. And fixed pretty much all my gripes with the older ultimate Bluetooth. The only thing I wish was changed was that it could wireless with the Xbox rather then wired and I'm not fully sold on the clicky bumpers
I ordered it as soon as it came out based on reviews of the previous models and I'm not disappointed. The controller is well built and works really well. It's comfortable to hold and all the buttons and sticks work really well. I did have some issues with it (left stick sending out additional arrow keypresses), but they seem to be resolved after connecting the unit via USB (btw to connect via USB you need to flip the switch to wired mode even when you only want to update firmware and change settings).
I wanted to change stick sensitivity, but the software doesn't have that option, but I managed to get a decent result via the deadzones settings. Btw I think the back paddles only support mapping to things that you already control via other buttons and I don't get how that is useful (having the same thing available on an additional button). I would expect to be able to map e.g to any keyboard key or something. Also I was really hoping to get a gyro (I know it was not mentioned, but still it would be nice). All in all I'm happy and can recommend the unit.
This controller blew me away. The VFM at this price is insane. I have used it across 3 platforms. Daily on my PC with the dongle in the charging dock, so neat. Wired on Xbox and Bluetooth with my tablet. Xcloud and PS5 remote play is what I normally use it for as well as directly on the Xbox. It's so neat and because it goes onto the dock after use, it's never out of battery. I've never had it go to low battery as my longest session without putting it on the dock is 2 Hours. I use all 3 profiles and the customisation on the app on PC or Xbox is just so easy to use!
