8BitDo SN30 Pro - Space Gray Limited Edition

Ok this joint is solid!! My controllers are always getting worn down, *especially* my M30!! The alloy really adds sturdiness and helps the controller always feel brand new. The sticks are perfect, the four shoulder buttons feel great and the Dpad feels like I remember from back in the 90s. :D

Why 4 stars? The face buttons don't feel like they did on a Super NES controller.
While 8BitDo nails this with the M30 (feels just like the original Genesis face buttons), this rare quality seems to elude the SN30 and SN30 Pro. Maybe this is how the Super Famicom or EU face buttons felt? But for some reason it seems really difficult to find places that make a Super NES controller that has face buttons that have the original more seemless tactile response. Which, there IS tactile response certainly on the SN30 Pro, it's just not THE original, easier to press, less physical thunk of the Super NES pad. The face buttons feel more difficult to press than an original Super NES pad, and have a more audible, more stiff feel to them.
I'm not sure, and I don't quite have the jargon to explain it, but it feels like the kind of smooth tactile feeling of face buttons from 1st party controllers like the Super NES, PS2, and Xbox S controller has become difficult to find on modern controllers?

I'm always on the hunt for that elusive Perfect Controller.
I'm a huge fan of adding four shoulder buttons, dual joysticks and vibration to classic controllers and I'm really praying that 8BitDo gives this modernization+alloy treatment to its M30. They've already nailed a variant of the M30 with four shoulder buttons! An M30 with four shoulder buttons, the dual sticks/vibration/alloy from the SN30 would be perfect for an M30 Pro! :D

Please 8BitDo!! Please give us a Zinc-Alloy M30 Pro for the M30 Anniversary!! ♥♥♥

Superb quality of the shell. Almost makes me feel bad for using it. It should be a regular item or a mod-kit where you can replace your SN30 Pro's plastic shell with metal like this one.

8BitDo SN30 Pro - Space Gray Limited Edition

The SN30 Pro space grey limited Edition is a great controller, it is plug in and play and worked flawlessly on all of my devices that were stated to be compatible except for the switch 2 there was either input delay or wouldn't register the analog stick input. I assume it is a firmware issue causing the abnormality on the switch 2 because testing of the joy sticks and button inputs on my PC and switch 1 worked as expected. The Build of the controller is superb,everything is metal except for start and select. Amazing in the hands with a bit of heft gives it a premium feel, that you start to feel tiresome after a prolonged session. The controller is the best of 8BitDo's SN Series Lineup in my opinion for use on PC and on switch 1.

Lovely controller which feels strong and sturdy, only issue is that one of the trigger buttons was damaged out of the box.
