8BitDo Pro 2 (Special Edition)

Controller build quality is excellent and responsive but playing is difficult as the keys are all mapped strangely.. like the B key is the left back paddle and I still can’t figure out what the menu button is. The re-mapping on an iPad is limited and the Mac desktop re-mapping is restricted somewhat. Trying to re-map in game is mildly effective as a work around.. still a very good controller. Using the D setting as instructed but somewhat disappointed.

Overall a huge improvement on the old sn30pro, better bluetooth connection, better weight distribution, slightly better grip, overall a better feeling. I love the fact that you still kept the same battery pack that can be swapped for 2 AA batteries and the whole semi transparent purple is wonderful to look at, I would have personally used gold for the writing and the button letters but still wonderful looking, also nice of you to give out a pair of thumbsticks covers for free. I still haven't used the whole macro and personalised buttons setup but just looking into all the wonderful personalization options in the app I'm sure I'll make use of it eventually. Last but not least, the back buttons are kind of in the way and sometimes i click them by mistake, I don't have them mapped to anything so it's not an issue but if you're not used to them being there it's gonna get some getting used to. Overall, by price, look, feel and fuctions, this is for me the absolute best controller on the market, an option to have clickier buttons would be nice, almost like the ones on a keyboard, but still for casual gaming the softer click is wonderful, keep up with your great work, you're one of the last remainig companies making wonderful and durable products for a reasonable price.

The aesthetics, build quality, and feature set on this controller is insane. I prefer using it over my "official" controllers most of the time. Strong work, 8bitdo!

I'm loving the controller, it works well with switch, has a solid feel and accurate input. I ask can setup multiple profiles to quickly switch between inverted and non inverted control. After about a week of use the left button stopped working and 8bitdo made it right and very easy to get the perfect replacement.

Had the trigger buttons falling off when I used them as well as the button paddles not functioning.
