8BitDo Retro Receiver for NGC

I was on the hunt for something like this for years once I had my first from amazon rushed to order another one from the site

With the frimware version 1.03 which fixing the joystick ranges this is a good alternative to wavebird for wireless!, The triggers are not accurate but the joysticks accuracy are the most important aspect to make it usable.

Like the title says after updating the adapter, it works phenomenally. Before the update it would randomly drop the modkit enabled GameCube controller. Since the update it hasn’t dropped it since and seems to do it better than even the wavebird does with its adapter! My only small thing is I wish it came in other GameCube colors. Don’t want to give you ideas but a spice orange one would be amazing!

I really enjoy this on my pico moded GameCube. Couldn’t be happier. Took a hella long time to get here tho that was a bummer. I haven’t tried it with other controllers except for the 8bitdo pro 2.

I tried the adapter on an original Gamecube, on a Wii, a Wii U with the GC to USB adapter, and even on a Wii remote nunchuck to GC converter and it worked for all of them.
