I specifically got this so I could use one of my PS4 or Xbox controllers with the Nintendo Switch in docked mode, without needing to buy another controller. Once set up (enable PRO controllers in Switch settings), it works exactly as I had hoped.
I was delightfully surprised to learn that the PS4 controllers support gyro aiming on the Switch as well.
This also works on a PC and is compatible with many controllers, so it eliminates the need for an Xbox wireless controller dongle.

It’s really great. The adapter works really smooth with my DualShock 4 on the switch. Really happy because it saved me a big buck.
Excellent!! Using here with my dualsense. It has control software for Windows, where you can modify everything you need. As well as working on Windows as an Xbox One control, works perfectly on the nwant switch as a pro controller (including gyro)

I bought to use on the Nintendo Switch, it's working perfectly with my PS4 control, including the Gyro☺️ (In the box says it is the adapter 2, but it does not have the 2 in the adapter body as in the photo)
