I was very curious about how a small controller like this would work, but I love it! I have small hands so the tiny controller doesn't feel awkward at all, and I love the color. It's perfect for travel because I can throw it in my Switch case and it takes up no space at all. It's also great for my younger siblings who can use it a bit easier than larger controllers.
The pictures here the controller with a USBC port, but mine came with MicroUSB. Switch support is bad, it connects as a 'pro controller' rather than a joycon, so games expect the controller to have more functionality than it does. It's tiny and does work, but does not compare at all to a single joycon (offbrand or not) for switch play.
I've love every 8bitdo controller so far. Even when I wore out the buttons on my Pro 2, the replacement parts were a perfect fit and easy to swap.
The Zero 2 is the only disappointment, because it's not compatible with their remapping software on any platform! The compromises you make to use a controller that small make me need remapping *more* and not *less*.
The similarly sized 8bitdo Micro has more buttons and is remappable (with a mobile device), so I can't think of any reason to prefer the Zero 2.
Despite being kind of pointless, the build quality is good, and it worked out of the box on Switch, so it gets at least 3 stars.

I was expecting with it's small size for a little cramping like the PSP but nope, very nice to hold and use. Connected to my phone easily and I haven't had to charge it since it showed up.
