I have smaller hands which leads to most first party controllers to leave my hands aching I tried back buttons on the ps5 controller with the rise4 kit but still left them in pain but this controller is wildly comfortable and accurate I just wish it worked on ps5
For the price, you literally cannot get a better controller, even better than a standard Xbox controller in all honesty. The only thing I am hoping for is Switch comparability down the line through firmware updates
Everything went smoothly. Except that Bluetooth connections under Windows doesn't really work in games. But that's not 8BitDo's fault.

The controller itself is super compact, it feels well crafted and the Hall-effect joycons are just amazing, for the price and the quality it's a banger.
My only issue with it is that the selling page says it has 2 extra buttons so I though I could bind in-game actions to these extra shoulder buttons, it turns out they are just mappable buttons that you can assign a macro action.
It wouldn't be so much of an issue if I could bind keyboard buttons to them but I'm stuck at assigning them on-controller buttons combos and I felt a bit "betrayed".
Also, the app doesn't really do anything, it's not like the Logitech app in which you can assign specific buttons to your shoulder buttons on an MX Master ma use for example, it would be so cool if the 8BitDo app would let you register different keybinds for those 2 buttons.
Also, it seems like the "star" button is useless, cannot register a macro on it.
Overall, it's an awesome controller given the price, I defenetly expected a cheap piece of plastic with crappy battery life and construction quality but I was pleasently surprised to be proven wrong, highly recommended.
