8BitDo Retro Mechanical Keyboard

the keyboard feels solid and the feedback makes those old school klacky sounds it has that period correct feel.
one or two difficulties getting the software to go on Windows 11 to start with but I got there, it's fairly basic software though and you might not even need it.

This is definitely one of the best keyboard experiences I have had. It is very responsive, sounds great and was very easy to set up, especially the big buttons and the joy stick. No software needed. Have seamless connection with the dongle on PC and use Bluetooth on my Android tablet. Everything just works.

It also takes me back to my Commodore 64 days, though the keys are much better sounding, they give the same feel from shape and keyboard angle. 8BitDo have done a great job, right down to the power light.

Does not work with Pocket

Looks cool. Performs flawlessly. May be tricky to find engraving service due to the shape and material of the caps. Nevertheless, I managed to engrave cyrillic characters on it. The only issue is the software. The application simply didn't work when I purchased the keyboard. Not sure about now, need to check. I remove one star for providing dead downloadable app. But the app isnt mandatory for the keyboard to function. To summarize: I definitely recommend.
