8BitDo M30 Wired Controller for Xbox

My go to retro gaming controller on PC, feels great, looks great, and plays great. Highly recommend, it's the best layout for retro gaming in my opinion, that 6 button genesis style. Works well for fighting games, beat 'em ups, shmups, etc.

This is my second 8BitDo controller (My other is the wired SNES-like controller). I use these on my PC (Ubuntu) and they work out of the box without installing any drivers or any fiddling whatsoever.

When I grew up, 3rd party controllers were usually less expensive alternatives that were also lower quality, but that's just not the case these days. 8BitDo controllers feel great, and are durably built. I got the M30 to play Saturn games and fighting games for which the 6-button controller is nice. I have not used an original Saturn controller, so I can't speak to how similar this feels to that, but it works great for me.

Your M30's are great controllers. I also bought a wireless one for my computer and Genesis Mini, and the only problem with that one is that it is buggy when wireless and in D-Input mode. But it works perfectly if wired or put into X-Input mode.
