8BitDo Mod Kit for Original N64 Controller

Amazing kit to revive a dead N64 controller that I picked up at goodwill for $5 as a parts item. Easy drop in replacement and after the controller is synced to a PC via bluetooth you can remove the rumble pack and it still works great!

It was a bit difficult to put the controller back together but worth all the time and money spent. It came with a new joystick so I got to bring new life to an old busted controller that I didn't use anymore.

Just having some issues with connecting after a couple days of after pairing.

The kit is very easy to install and the stick feels so much better than the original with the better materials and mechanism. The only downside to this kit is the analog gate is not the sane as the original, but this is a very minor gripe and doesn’t take anything away from the user experience. A very good way to modernise your old, worn down n64 controller.

The kit breathed new life into an old N64 with a wobbly joystick. Benchmarks in sanni are almost spot on. No noticeable lag while gaming in RetroArch. Highly recommend.
