I've been using the 8BitDo Charging Dock for my Xbox controller every day for the past month, and it's been great. It’s easy to use, charges quickly, and keeps everything clean on my desk. It has solid quality, and it fits the controller perfectly. Highly recommended if you want a hassle-free charging solution.
Remember the days when you wanted to get a spare controller but also wanted to save money for games, so you went ahead and got something like a Mad Catz?
You'll then also remember how cheap they felt, how the buttons didn't press quite right, how it didn't exactly feel like the licensed controller in your hand. This especially sucked for younger siblings, who were expected to use those exclusively!
Well, when I ordered my wireless Switch controller from 8BitDo, I was expecting it to be just slightly better than that.
What I was NOT expecting was a controller that felt better in hand than the licensed controller, satisfying triggers and buttons, and incredible battery time.
What was meant to be the Player 2 controller is now my main.
All this before even getting into Hall Effect sticks.
Now, the controller is too new to even be worrying about this yet, but "Hall Effect" sticks refers to joystick construction that relies on magnets to read your inputs rather than mechanical components. As a result, there are no components to wear out on you; leading to stick drift.
Keep in mind, the controller that I purchased does not have a vibration capability, so if that's important to you, you may want to check to see if you can prioritize it.
Nice addition to xbox gamepad

It works well on my "Hyundai Supercomboy". It's also impressive that there is no noticeable input lag.
