Sturdy

Good sturdy case. The top mesh pocket can't fit the phone grip since the whole case isn't tall enough.

little to no protection

For having their logo on it, they sure missed their usualy quality standards. The 8bitdo Pro 2 is eaaily one of my favorite controllers of all time, so I'd have assumed they put a fraction of care into it's official case.
Luckily I still have one if the boxes, which is ironically a better case than the one I paid extra for.
While still called "The Classic Case", the website specifically mentions that it should safely hold other styles of controllers. This is like saying you can fit a cookie in a pizza box; No other controllers have any padding. Lightly rocking the case with an 8BitDo Pro 2 (New with Hall effect) lets you hear how insanely loose it is in there. It can rock on three axis, which really means it's just sliding around and bumping it's triggers and sticks every time you move. the case. It fails the idea of "keeping your controller safe" spectacularly, in that it becomes a hazard for your controller.
I begrudgingly said I'd give it a chance, and lo and behold; The controller's left trigger paddle had snapped off on it's maiden voyage in my messenger bag, ironically where my first Pro2 Controller had been safely stored without a case for over a year. Was it because I placed it in "upside down"? Or maybe my bag was "too tight" for the case? Ridiculous. I would have been better off without it, and I'm not even going to bother with their roach motel of a customer service email anymore. They wanted a video? Of how I was keeping it in my bag, "safely" in the case? And I'd still have to pay shipping for return? I literally sent my request for a refund within 5 minutes of that package coming through my front door.
I think I'd rather throw this into a fire for warmth. That, and so they can't resell it to someone else who believes that their controller case would have some padding before getting it.

Honestly, just use the box your controller came in. They clearly put much more effort into that box than they did into this case.

Passt perfekt

Optimale Größe für den pro 2 mit handyhalterung und ladekabel. Hab ich immer dabei für die Pause oder längere Fahrten.

Einzig das Material fühlt sich nicht Wertigkeit an. Angesichts des Preises aber vollkommen ok.

You could do better

There's nothing inside to keep the controller secure. It's loose like a peanut still in the shell.
