I wish there was an option to match the plastic/style if my NES keyboard and buttons.
The products to attach to my 8bitdo keyboard are awesome. Plenty of variety in programable options and desk arrangement. Great feel too.
My keyboard came with the normal big A and B buttons. Which are a blast. But I'll play a lot of emulators and things and these have just been great. Weighty and solid. Must have accessories.
- Reprogramming them cannot be scripted, requires manually pressing the "program" button. For the Super stick, this means you have to do it 4 times. Want to change stick behavior per application? You cannot do it automatically with a script.
- Cables clutter the desk, unfortunately
- Button switches are incredibly soft, compared to the 8bitdo keyboard
- Super stick is the same as pressing arrow buttons except it's much easier to not register the click/press event, since the feedback is very light
I was using them full-time for around two weeks, now they've fell into disuse and just take up space. If they allowed us to easily program them from Linux, I might start using them again, and perhaps find a way to make the switches stiffer.
A welcome fit to my desktop environment high quality like always.
