8BitDo M30 2.4G Controller for Sega Genesis Mini & Mega Drive Mini

X-input mode on PC is broken for me. I absolutely can not get my PC (Win11) to differentiate this controller from the retro-bit Sega styled control pads I use while in x-input mode. D-input mode is has unique pid/vid/guid's so I can get by but d-input mode just kind of sucks.
Also my ultimate with 2.4ghz and neogeo with 2.4ghz dongles are great. When plugged in to USB but controller off, windows no see controller (good). When m30 dongle plugged in and controller off, windows think controller plugged in (bad). I shouldn't have to unplug dongle from PC to use different controller.

It has buggy directional inputs when in D-Input mode and wireless. But I have no problems with it when using it in X-Input mode or wired.
