8BitDo Mod Kit for Original N64 Controller

I really enjoy this N64 retromod kit for the N64 controller. If you have an itch to scratch for N64 this is your ticket. The hall effect joystick, rumblepack and bluetooth work exactly as I'd hoped.

I bought this as a gift for my brother in law who wanted a n64 controller that could be used across multiple devices. Unfortunately the nintendo online controller was not a great option and most other controllers were either a completely different shape or had terrible reviews. This mod was sweet simple and easy to do if you have an old n64 controller (preferably non functioning or in need of repairs) you're looking to breathe new life into. I had a problem with the first rumble pack that it didn't rumble. The 8BitDo team took care of me as they sent me a new one and it works. I recommend this kit to all my friends.

5/5 this is a great mod. I had a non-functional n64 controller with a very nice shell. This mod brought it to life and gave me the n64 experience I wanted on my Nintendo switch. I definitely recommend and it wasn’t very hard to do at all.
