The controller itself is very nice. The dpad feels amazing, easily my favorite controller for retro gaming and games that use the dpad. The face buttons are a bit loud, that’s really my only hardware complaint.
It was disappointing to find that the controller had some flaws out of the box that I was not expecting. A lot of the deeper customization is locked behind pc access, which I was not aware of before buying as I had bought an Ultimate Bluetooth 1 years ago and had no issues with the mobile app customization there. The V2 mobile app does not allow you to bind the Turbo function, meaning the controller does not have turbo functionality on switch 2 without access to the pc app. This same case goes for any macro set up, was very disappointed to see there is absolutely zero macro ability from the v2 mobile app when it was already available on the v1 mobile app. I hope to see improvements on that front as this was an extremely easy to recommend brand / product, but now I find myself asking if people have access to a pc and if they don’t, I recommend other brands.
