8BitDo Pro 3 Bluetooth Gamepad

I am loving the everything of this controller, the clickiness of the buttons the feel of the materials and the quality.
So I would recommend this to everyone.

I have a huge collection of 8Bit Controllers, Huge fan of the Pro 2, and find that to be more of an Ultimate controller than the actual one named that.

Connection to the app on phones is great for editing and was able to be connected to a large amount of devices. The Ultimate controllers ended up being able to connect to as many different devices without having a huge amount of different ones that did different things that the Pro 2 just felt like it did all in one minus the 2.4ghz connection.
My main issue was that when I would have other people use it in Xinput mode, the face buttons were in switch layout and that wasnt a good presentation. So Pro 3 comes along and adds the ability to swap the face buttons the way you want. Huge win! So order immediatly just for that. and bonus was that it had the dock so if i used it for demo purposes, it would be great presentation. and in this review i can fully say those parts are perfect.

I do have to dock its score for a couple things though. it feels harder and harder to edit these things without downloading the app on my windows device, i cant get it to connect to my phone at all for the ultimate app. I also find the new face buttons are just to loud and clickly, I prefer them quiet like the pro 2. and one last thing, why not let me have profiles that let me map any button on the controller? the star button should be allowed to be mapped and the home button would be nice to be mapped to something else too, and to top that, when i use with SteamOS, it would be nice to map the star button to steam (home) button and the actual home button on the controller to steam plus A so that i can open the left or right menus on steamOS, I find it silly you cant, but that i wont dock the controller for, the lack of support for the android ultimate app and clicky buttons i do though.

It's the best controller I ever have. From the new analog sticks & the new triggers with all these features that actually works! The interchangeable buttons for me works the best, because I am more of a Steam user. The only minor inconvenience is the extra buttons next to the bumper buttons. I would prefer to be on the back with the other 2 back buttons. But nonetheless, the controller is amazing!

Works great, controller has set up well and become my new daily driver. Glad that such a solid piece of kit is out there for such a great price!

The controller has a great form factor, and everything feels great. It was extremely easy to get set up with three different devices (tablet, SteamDeck, PC). The buttons feel great, but the only con is that the face buttons are pretty loud and clicky.
