Excellent Kit, installation was easy and clear. Items got home safe and the process was easy to follow. Would Recommend to anyone with a OG GC Controller to convert to Bluetooth. My only small gripe os the charging cable is small, other than that excellent product.
Really happy that I was able to save a broken controller. The mod kit is pretty straightforward. Hardest part is stripping and mending the rumble motor to the new motherboard. You don’t need to solder it but it would probably be ideal to do it if you have the tools. This works like a charm on the Nintendo switch. My only gripe is having to pay $25 for the receiver if you plan on using it on the Nintendo GameCube. At $50 all in it’s a bit pricey. I will say this is a far better solution than any 3rd party controller out there. I also wish the charging cable was longer.
I've contacted your company several times to try and resolve the issue with no response
Works great. Installed it on one of the newest controllers sold for the Switch, easy to install, I didn’t solder anything and it works great. Greetings from Mexico
Pretty easy to install, but I will highly discourage following the installation guide, specifically on the step about installation of the rumble motor, that should be soldered in, not just hot wired under heat shrink tubing... That might just be a me thing...
Also there's some trouble using the gamecube's "special" trigger buttons (specifically the extra digital "click" at the end of the analog trigger) when combined with an iBlueControlMod or as a Bluetooth controller for a pc, on android the click registeres but it does not seem to be recognized by all applications.
If you pair the kit with a 8bitdo NGC controller plug, the extra click seems to register just fine also on pc.
