8BitDo Mod Kit for Original NGC Controller

With the announcement of the switch 2 having virtual Game cube games, I didn’t want to buy a brand new controller. This mod kit was exactly what I needed. Super easy to install and feels great

Slight calibration issue on the left joystick, but otherwise fantastic.

Installation was alright, and the hardware works. My main issue is that the analog triggers don't work on PC without their GameCube wireless adapter and a USB GameCube controller port adapter which i didn't have. This turned a 25 dollar mod into a 75 dollar one. So this product only really makes sense if you already use a GameCube controller on PC and not if you want to get into it for the first time

Been using this for a month and I absolutely love it. The rumble is a little weak if you’re using it on original hardware on android mode but luckily analog triggers will work and it’s already better than the original wavebird (with no rumble). I love that it’s compatible on the switch and since it’s using the original rumble motor on the NGC controller, the switch pro controller uses HD rumble so the rumble feels a lot nicer and luckily i don’t play many games that require analog triggers, so i’m not bothered by it at all. Absolutely awesome mod kit. A nice way to play games with NGC with nice rumble wirelessly :)
