its great but will have an update to the firmware so it works with switch 2. its the only thing holding it to be perfect

I got this kit to work with the Switch 2. This review can easily change to a 5 star if they get a new firmware for it, to work with the switch 2.

I wish there’s more joystick cap options
I hope for an update where the controller works on switch 2 with the receiver

Product was very easy to assemble, and works well on android/switch. The rumble is very very weak, and the usb port to perform firmware updates isn't exactly easy to get to, though. Support is very slow to respond and is vague about plans to support Switch 2

The mod kit itself is fantastic. I'm used to taking apart electronics and soldering components, so I soldered the connector for the vibration motor for the more reliable connection. However 100% this could be done by anyone who can read or even just watch a video on YouTube. The joysticks are fantastic, and the pairing and switching modes is great.

CONS:
As of writing this review, it is not compatible with the Switch 2 without any adapters, where it works flawlessly on the Switch 1. Just ordered the USB adapter 2 to (hopefully) get it to work.

I also don't like that the you have to take the controller apart to get to the USB C port for firmware updates. I feel like there could have been a way to do this though a different type of barrel-jack adapter, but hopefully you wouldn't need to do many firmware updates. Its the only reason this is not a 5 star review.
