The mod was easy to install and works great. My only complaint is that the “Android” mode that allows the use of the analog triggers does not have a button combination for home like the Switch mode has. The Switch mode only sees the triggers as digital which is not ideal for games like Super Mario Sunshine. I use my controller on a home theater pc running SteamOS and I have to use another controller to access the Steam menu or quickly exit games. Would be 5/5 if that was added.
The Modding experience was pretty good, the screwdriver that came in box was very useful as well and the new replacement thumbsticks feel miles better than the old ones i had the left stick has some very noticeable snapback that is annoying and the fact that its not USB-C for charging and connecting to the pc as well as updating the firmware, and it is pretty annoying not having X-Input to use on pc smoothly but over all I'm happy with the product and I've been using it a lot to play retro games and modern platformers, this is a great option to have and I'm happy it exists in general to bring back the old GC controllers and give them new life.
It works so good and am able to connect it to pc and switch easily, however I do wish an update to the firmware where Xinput is an option as there is no way of utilizing the analog triggers as well as rumble at the same time. Despite this fault I found it to be a perfect product and would recommend since its very easy to install and use.
Relativ einfacher Einbau. Alles gut durchdacht. Macht richtig Spaß mit dem kabellosen Kontroller zu spielen ☺️
Honestly I absolutely love it. Works on switch and switch 2. Really great. However using it on GameCube not so great. The triggers and bumpers on mine are flipped in the software. Do playing games just don’t work if you need the triggers. For instance I can not drift in MKDD. I looks like there are ways of fixing it, but that would mean using a computer to update and remap the controller. I don’t own a computer so I guess I’ll just play switch?
