they sent me a controller that wanders pretty bad straight out of the box. i've only experienced joystick drift after a few years of continued use so this seemed like a pretty straightforward customer service situation. their "customer service" is a joke. don't waste your money on faulty products they wont replace

Was looking for a PS style controller for my computer since I prefer the layout. This thing works like it's a native microsoft controller but has the layout I prefer - perfeito! Only downside is the buttons are "reversed" so if a game says X, it's Y on the controller and vice versa (same for B and A). This is because though the controller is received like it's a Microsoft/Xbox controller, the button map is slightly different. No big, but could be confusing for some.
The 8BitDo Pro 2 Wired Controller was head and shoulders over other controllers I've tried in the last few years. The extra back-buttons worked well enough, after a fashion. The instructions that came with the controller did not help with getting things set up properly, and I had to web-search for the means of accessing different modes. Extra buttons were recognised by Steam but not treated as extra buttons, so getting these to work as I would like was a frustrating experience. It works like a charm with the Switch once I had the Screenshot/Clip button set up correctly. Buttons are nice and clicky, D-Pad is comfortable. 3 metre cable is a godsend to allow me to play from the other side of the room from the screen of my choice. The flaws in question are relatively minor compared to the positives, or are out of the control of the manufacturers, and overall I like this controller.
8BitDo is well worth your time and money. This controller is fantastic. Like holding the mix between a sony controller and a classic SNES controller in perfect balance. The underside secret buttons get hit often by accident but I have those disabled or unmapped in most cases.
