A comfortable controller, certain improvements could be made

The Pro 2 is a comfortable controller, to be sure. It functions correctly and connects to various systems without issue (Switch, Android, PC, etc.). Personally, I find the D-Pad underwhelming, which is a shame given the overall high build quality and exceptional joysticks. It functions but feels cheap compared to the rest. The A-B-X-Y buttons likewise seem somewhat poorer than you'd expect. The pushback is languid but again, they function perfectly well. The triggers are fine, R1 and L1 have nice feedback (a click) wherease R2 and L2 are click-less. I'm not sure how I feel about them, it's not what I'm used to but not bad.
As an alternative to name-brand controllers, I'm perfectly satisfied and often reach for this one over my wired Xbox One controller. Take my complaints for what they are - nitpicking. Certain improvements could be made to give a truly 5-star experience but even without, the Pro 2 is very good controller overall.

Excellent

Controller feels premium in the hand. Love the features and have a new main controller to replace my Switch Pro for mobile and PC. Color is great and price even better for the built quality.

Works great on Linux (except the firmware updater)

Overall, I love this controller, using on on my Switch, my Raspberry Pi, and with Steam on Arch Linux. My one complaint is that the Firmware Updater tool does not have a Linux version, despite more and more gaming being done on Linux. Setting it up with WINE was a bit annoying, and I wish 8BitDo would release a version of the firmware updater with native linux compatibility (or get it working with fwupd).

Mean Green Machine

I bought the Green Pro 2 after being totally satisfied with my SNES style, but I wanted another one because of how well it integrates on PC and it can be a pain trying to run 1 xinput and 1 DualSense. Love these controllers
